“We believe …” we say when we recite the creed. But why do you believe these things?
Some things we can prove, the evidence is overwhelming; but can you prove that someone loves you? And haven’t we all learned to treat what we find on social media with a healthy scepticism?
So what about the Resurrection of Christ? “… on the third day he rose again”.
We believe this, and we are happy to proclaim it, but can we explain how we know it’s true?
