If you had to pick one of the great events of the Christian faith to be the greatest, which one would you choose?

Might it be the Creation of the World? Without that, there would be no where for Christ to come to.

Or maybe Jesus’ birth – the impossible presence of the infinite God in a finite human form?

Or Jesus’ crucifixion – the impossible death of the source of life, which is transformative for us?

But if you read the New Testament, especially the book of Acts and the Epistles, it looks like the Resurrection is the key fact for the first disciples.

It was the Resurrection they preached, the Resurrection that proved Jesus was (is) right, the Resurrection that made people stop and consider.

So maybe we should talk the Resurrection a bit more often.

He is Risen! He is Risen indeed. Alleluia!
